What has been added to the practice site — newest first.
Last updated:
-
As an app and on the go: on the course page you can now put Practice makes safe on your home screen as an app — with its own button and steps for Android and iPhone. Next to it: why it's a warning sign when a site urges you to install its “app”. If you like, your browser can save every page on your device. They then open without a connection too, the emergency plan included.
-
Larger text: three “A” buttons in the header make the text larger — on every page, without going into your browser settings. Your browser remembers the choice. Small notes and the addresses you check in the exercises are larger too.
-
Two paths: the course now has two parts. “Spotting traps” has seven stations, with On the phone and Shopping and paying new. The new path “Being prepared” has five: Passwords, The second key, Family agreements, Devices and accounts and An emergency drill, with an emergency card to print.
-
Calls you can hear: in the simulated calls the caller now speaks out loud — press “Listen” for one line or “With sound” for the whole call. The voices are synthetic. Why they sound like a computer is explained below the exercise.
-
Going further: three exercises for anyone who wants to keep going — Spot the signs, Build the trap and Helping others.
-
Also new: the address duel shows the same pattern once with real domain endings. The warning pop-ups include two more scare messages. The security glossary has six new terms. The emergency page is no longer a station but the page to turn to when something has gone wrong.
-
New in the inbox: a blackmail email that threatens to release supposed videos. That makes eleven emails in the inbox.

The practice site is open: six stations — pop-ups, texts, the address duel, the inbox, the emergency plan and asking AI — plus a practice record, a class mode for groups and the security glossary. Free, no account, no tracking.
